What is a subluxation?
Simply put, a subluxation is when one or more of the spine bones has misaligned.
When this occurs, pressure is created on the delicate spinal nerves which exit
between those vertebrae.
How does subluxation affect me?
-
This pressure interferes with the health signals that your brain sends to your
body.
-
These nerves control four coordinates all the functions of the body.
-
If you interrupt these signals, those body parts will not get the proper
messages.
What does a Chiropractor do?
A doctor of chiropractic locates and removes these misalignments called
subluxation. Chiropractors are the only health professionals trained in the
detection, and correction of subluxation. The correction of subluxation is done
by a series of gentle chiropractic adjustments.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
An extremely specific gentle force applied to the vertebrates of the spinal
column in order to correct subluxation. This pressure “unlocks” the bone from
its improper position.
Does an adjustment hurt?
Most techniques use minimal force and gentle pressure. Few patience face any
type of discomfort.
What is that “popping” sound?
No need for any concern of fear. This “popping” noise are small amounts of gas
releasing with a pop. This allows proper mobility in the area of the column.
